The Ministry of Education, under the control of the Taliban group, has issued a new directive, imposing stricter measures on Afghanistan’s education system. Based on this decree, the mixing of students, teachers, and staff in schools and madrasas is strictly prohibited, and education personnel must be of the same gender as their students. The directive states that the teaching of boys by women and girls by men is only permitted up to the third grade and for students under nine years old. Additionally, the instruction times for girls and boys must be completely separate, with a one-hours between them.
