Sources in Khost province report that the Taliban have dismissed 120 professors and staff members from Sheikh Zayed University under the guise of “downsizing.” The sources add that these individuals were dismissed from the university by order of Taliban officials, and a similar decision is being implemented for other faculties. Most of the dismissed professors hold master’s and doctoral degrees and had been teaching at the university since the previous government.
