Local sources report a strong explosion at a Taliban base in the district of Darah, Panjshir province.
\nSources add that the explosion occurred around 8:30 PM on Friday night in the village of “Tenkho,” inside a house belonging to Akram Khan.
\nTaliban officials converted this house into a military base three and a half years ago, and they also detained Akram Khan and transferred him to Pul-e-Charkhi prison.
\nIt is believed that as a result of this explosion, a number of Taliban fighters were killed and wounded, but the exact casualty figures are still unknown.
\nThe exact nature of the explosion is not yet clear, and no group has claimed responsibility for it.
